Jayco's 2009 Founders Award was presented to Terrell Camping Center, in Terrell, N.C. Owner Carroll Lineberger, Sr., accepted the award along with his son Carroll Lineberger, Jr. and Carroll's wife, Kim, and son, Austin.

"The Founders Award goes to a dealership where the ownership and management are dedicated to outstanding sales and customer support. They also posses a strong commitment to Jayco and to creating a professional operation which brings credit to Jayco and the RV industry with a attitude that embodies the spirit of Jayco," said Sid Johnson, Jayco's marketing director.

"The dealership has grown to become important part of the economy," said Johnson. "They have a reputation for taking care of customers and handling any situation with the highest degree of integrity and commitment to customer service. They have been Gold Circle members since 1995 and consistently ranked among Jayco's top 25 dealers with a market penetration among the highest in country. Their CSI scores consistently rank about 95 percent to put Terrell Camping Center in the top 10 percent of all RV dealers in the country."

Terrell Camping Center started in 1963. It became a Jayco dealer in 1970. The business has been family owned and operated since the early 1950s, selling cars and furniture before they started selling RVs. The dealership's second generation owners opted to focus on the RV operation in the 1980s. A third generation of owners is now running day-to-day operations.
